INDEPENDENT CONNECTION PROVIDER (ICP)
What is an ICP?
As an independent connection provider (ICP), we are accredited to carry out works on behalf of clients on the electricity network. Networks are usually owned by either a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or and Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO).
ELS has been a NERS accredited ICP, listed on the Lloyds Register since 2015 and as such is able to carry out contestable works on behalf of network owners and clients.
